Receiving the AIA Honor Award from the Idaho Chapter was recognition that the design of condominiums could be integrated into both a special riverfront site as well as the vernacular of the mountain village of McCall.
All 24 Condominiums in these two and three story units have river views. Organized around a auto court, the massing results in the feel of a compact mountain village that allowed plenty of gardens and gracious lawn alongside the river.
Three units types were designed: Unit A - a two story four bedroom plan; Unit B - a two story four bedroom plan and Unit C - a two bedroom flat. In the midst of a recession in 1982 the units sold out as soon as offered.
